Bundaberg is close to everything in South East Queensland and is a great place to use as a flying base. It is highly accessible place due to its link to the to the state capital, Brisbane, by a regular Qantas (operated by Qantaslink - Sunstate Airlines) service (5 times a day). The high speed tilt train station is located in central Bundaberg and the Bruce Highway is 50 km to the south-west. The beaches and attractions of the Coral Coast, the Great Barrier Reef, Hervey Bay, the Sunshine Coast, and Fraser Island are all within easy travel distance.
