Kensington Lakes is located in a prime position, adjacent to the airport and approximately parallel to the main runway. Kensington Lakes is therefore not under the flight path of the main runway. Access for aircraft between Kensington and the airport will be available via a sealed taxiway direct from the boundary of the site to the main runway, a distance of approximatley 400 metres. It is only 2 minutes drive to the arrivals and departure lounge; 5 minutes to the GPO, railway station, and Bourbong Street; with Bargara, Mon Repos and the famous Coral Coast beaches only 15 kilometres and 10 minutes drive away.
Bundaberg is located four hours north of Brisbane by car; less than an hour to Brisbane by Sunstate Dash 8 turbo prop - five times a day (160 nautical miles); and one and a half hours drive to Hervey Bay with direct flights to Sydney and Melbourne, and the barge to Fraser Island.
