Kensington Lakes is located on the western edge of the Bundaberg built up area, approximately 2.5 kilometres from the Central Business District. It is within 2 kilometres of the University and major regional shopping and is situated well within the current built up area.
Bundaberg is located four hours north of Brisbane by car; 40 minute flight to Brisbane by Qantaslink; and one and a half hours drive to Hervey Bay were both Virgin and Jetstar run direct flights to Sydney and Melbourne.
For flyers Kensington Lakes is located in a prime position, adjacent to the airport and approximately parallel to the main runway. Access for aircraft between Kensington and the airport will be available via a sealed taxiway direct from the boundary of the site to the main runway, a distance of approximately 400 metres.
It is only 2 minutes drive to the arrivals and departure lounge; 5 minutes to the GPO, railway station, and Bourbong Street; with Bargara, Mon Repos and the famous Coral Coast beaches only 15 kilometres and 10 minutes drive away.
